Managing Director
Lee assists clients with strategy, creative direction and user experience, drawing on his background in design and corporate management.
Over the past 20 years, he has worked in a diverse set of industries including industrial design, law, outsourced operations and telecommunications, holding senior and director level positions in start-ups, SME’s and large organisations.
Passionate about design, Lee began designing running shoes for Puma in the late 80’s and provided blue-sky product concepts for Swatch and Yamaha while studying Industrial and Transportation Design.
From his experience as Operations Manager at Sitel, a global contact centre outsourcer where he managed support and service campaigns for Sony, One 2 One and Philips, he developed a specialism in turning around failing teams and departments. He has maintained this skill through his professional career and completed a course in “Leading Change in Complex Organisations” in 2008 at MIT, Boston.
In 2004 Lee joined Pipex as Head of Customer Support to turn around their service operations that looked after a 250,000 user customer base. In this role for the company, he went on to help achieve one of the lowest customer churn rates in the industry and played a key role in the rollout of Pipex’s Local Loop Unbundling programme. He became Business Projects Director in 2006, heading up contact strategy for a customer base of over 1 million and planning the integration of acquired businesses through the company’s M&A activity. He also directed the redesign of the Pipex online customer portal.
